BioFire Diagnostics, LLC is seeking a Technology Transfer Project Manager to join our team! The Product Transfer group is expanding and we need a great individual ready to work closely with all departments to transfer new products from R&D to manufacturing.

The Technology Transfer Project Manager is the point of reference for internal technical expertise and provides technical support for improvements to existing products/processes and helps transfer new products/processes to both instrument and reagent manufacturing.

Qualified individual will be responsible for coordinating all efforts involved in the transfer of new chemistry products, instrument products, and manufacturing equipment from R&D into reagent and/or instrument manufacturing. The Technology Transfer Project Manager will present reports and the status of the work packages, communicate technical aspects of transfer and Quality needs to those not familiar with the process, and work closely with the Program/Project Managers (P/PM) to establish project transfer timelines and ensure that products/processes are compliant with company quality standards.

Applicants must have a BS or MS in the life sciences, engineering, or equivalent technical field. Experience in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or molecular biology/microbiology in an industrial setting a plus. In addition to the basic education requirements, a minimum of 3 years of work experience is required as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience working in ISO 9001/13485 and/or cGMP/cGLP compliant environment. Higher level graduate level education may be substituted for work experience. Knowledge of FDA and other relevant regulatory environments is a plus. Experience in a life science related industry and/or PCR is a plus.

This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a Project Manager for the Data Coordinating Center at the University of Utah. This position desires a person with a strong clinical research background, protocol development experience as well as regulatory experience in working with single IRBs. Project Managers for the Data Coordinating Center will manage multicenter clinical trials, coordinate network consultations, and manage single IRB activities for assigned projects. Responsibilities Under the guidance of the Director, this role independently manages and coordinates research studies and trials at various clinical sites. Assists in the development of research projects, scientific study design, data interpretation, training of research site personnel, and maintains regulatory compliance, patient safety, and data quality. Monitors the conduct and progress of studies to ensure compliance with established protocols and study time lines. Licensed professionals may perform medical reviews and analyze or evaluate clinical data. Responsibilities include: * Independently provides oversight for all aspects of study conduct, regulatory compliance, and record keeping processes at the site or institution level. * Coordinates and tracks protocol and amendment releases, consent form changes, IRB submissions and IRB question resolution with clinical centers. * Assists Investigators in developing research concepts and assessing other resource support needs. * Leads and coordinates the internal project team activities including meeting coordination and preparation. * Collaborates with internal groups on various tasks (e.g. data element development, user account registration, DSMB activities, data quality, reporting) related to Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics, and IT/Informatics through all phases of the study lifecycle. * Develops and provides input on various study materials for network studies such as the study protocol, the Manual of Operations, communication and project plans and other required materials. * Reviews incoming data to identify trends, problems or other issues. * Acts as the main point of contact between internal team members and external collaborators (e.g. study-specific site personnel and research staff, network partners, principal investigators). * Organizes study trainings and gives presentations to the clinical centers on study procedure implementation, Good Clinical Practice, study progress, key data quality topics and trends, and study milestones and timelines. * Performs risk assessment and ensures appropriate risk management steps are undertaken related to protocol development, remote monitoring, site monitoring of site performance, site compliance, and overall study management. * Attends required trainings, conferences and meetings as appropriate. * Licensed professionals may be assigned medical review responsibilities and analyze or evaluate clinical data.
