Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP, Benco Center of Excellence, the Technology Trainer is tasked with designing and executing learning experiences tailored to internal Benco associates for various Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and custom developed software applications used with Benco's day-to-day operations, including but not limited to Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Sales. The role involves leveraging instructional theory and best practices to identify and address knowledge gaps effectively. Our team values agility, responsiveness, collaboration, and pride in results, all of which guide our approach to customer-driven innovation.

Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes?

• Demonstrated expertise in instructional design principles

• Thorough understanding of learning theories and instructional design models

• Proficiency in instructional technology and course development software, Articulate Suite experience preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve goals

• Proficiency in MS Office suite

• Experience with specific cloud applications, including Infor Cloud Suite Distribution Enterprise, is advantageous but not mandatory

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

• Design and develop instructional content and interactive learning activities to facilitate knowledge acquisition, retention, and application, utilizing a blended learning approach that may incorporate classroom instruction, computer-based courses, and on-the-job training activities

• Conduct research and analysis on learners and their contexts to tailor learning experiences accordingly

• Develop exercises, activities, and assessments to enhance the learning process and evaluate learner performance effectively

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions as required

• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions as required

• Perform analysis tasks as necessary to support training initiatives

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

• Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Related Field

• Minimum of two years of experience in related field
