QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of college in a technology related field or technical school with an AA in a technology related Field.
CompTia A+/Network+ or related certifications.
Demonstrated understanding of Network maintenance and troubleshooting
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT:
Twelve-month work year
Salary and fringe benefits to be established by the Board of Education.

JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Technology Support Specialist
Location: Bremen High School
REPORTS TO: Director of Technology
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of college in a technology related field or technical school with an AA in a technology related field
- CompTia A+/Network+ or related certifications
- Demonstrated understanding of Network maintenance and troubleshooting
TASK AREAS:
- Performs tasks required for deployment and management of computers in assigned school(s).
- Installs software when required.
- Installs updates to operating systems and software when required.
- Replaces component parts of computers as required.
- Maintains inventory of component parts as needed.
- Reads and interprets schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
- Attends classes and seminars to enhance knowledge of equipment and operating systems.
- Assists and supports the day-to-day technical management of school LAN.
- Provides advanced technical support to school staff.
- Tests, monitors, support, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Tracks and communicates developing technology issues to Director of Technology.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas assigned to this position.
- Accomplishes other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology
