PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Provide outstanding customer experiences by maintaining On-Highway telematics records in compliance with the Federal D.O.T. mandate. This position will implement the technology on-boarding process for On-Highway telematics solutions such as Trimble GeoManager and the ELD devices. Provide internal and external customer support with regards to Trimble GeoManager and the D.O.T. Provide initial training through live webinars and phone conversations as part of the on-boarding process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIS:

  • Initiate the On-Highway telematics on-boarding process for the Gregory Poole fleet

  • Maintain D.O.T. Federal compliance with regards to driving restrictions through reporting

  • Provide customer Trimble GeoManager training through webinars/teleconferences as part of the on-boarding process

  • Provide internal and external customer support with regards to technology administrative issues and troubleshooting

  • Generate monthly invoices for customers for subscription based services along with reconciling monthly Trimble invoices

  • Customize internal reports to ensure proper ROI with Technology Development Manager and Fleet Manager

  • Provide actionable reports to department Service Managers

  • Perform other duties as necessary and/or assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Associate/Technical degree or equivalent experience

Work Experience: Four years of related experience. Technical knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and components with heavy focus on technology products and industry.

Physical: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Other: Must have excellent customer relation skills. Strong computer skills. Experience using Excel to create macros and pivot tables. Self-starter. Able to work with limited supervision.

In this role, the Life Sciences Technology Manager will be an integral member of the Life Sciences Engineering and Sector Management teams, working with Plexus management, business development, and product development engineering to achieve significant gains in Life Sciences business and high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Job Accountabilities: * Contribute to the definition of the strategy for the Life Sciences business, including internal initiatives and external activities – focusing on the technology and life sciences specific elements. * Guide customers with concepts and technology selection along with development of regulatory strategy, and aid Plexus' product development engineering services and manufacturing to comprehensively understand client's needs. * Assist internal teams in the creation of compelling and customer-aligned project proposals. * Understand Life Sciences market needs and trends for the development of the comprehensive internal projects and programs, including staffing and capital expenditure needs. Support the execution of internal projects. * Contribute to promotional and branding efforts in the Life Sciences space. Contribute to the identification and leveraging of Life Sciences subject matter knowledge in the organization. Additional Accountabilities: * Product Development experience in molecular diagnostic equipment and/or instruments, and thorough understanding of the supply chain and related costs. * Understanding of general technical and specific engineering issues related to the Life Sciences market, especially as they relate to instrumentation development. * Familiarity with systems development with considerations for optics, fluidics, thermodynamics, and/or human factors * Comfortable with common molecular biology concepts and laboratory parlance, able to facilitate communication between product development engineering and scientific customers. * Proven skills in customer and internal communication of complex technical concepts. * High level abilities to collaborate, influence teams, mentor others, and build relationships. * Worked with/developed/understands common molecular biology workflows. * Understanding of / working knowledge of disposables / interfacing to disposables. * Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 820, cGMP. * Advanced Decision Making & Problem Solving. * Additional duties as assigned. * Education/Experience Qualifications: * A minimum of a(n) Bachelors degree is required; a(n) Bachelors in technical science or engineering field and PhD in Engineering or Science is preferred * 5 years of related experience is required; An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
