Technology Specialist III - Integration Architect

The Technology Specialist III is a senior level engineer with expertise in multiple IT areas, who identifies and initiates solutions to complex or systematic problems, analyzes business plans and strategy to define technology vision. This may involve leading or directing others in problem resolution involving programming, interface and product design, platform development, infrastructure and interactions with multiple systems.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes an in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and directions, business systems and requirements, conducts independent analyses and reviews of technical and business requirements.

  • Develops innovations with business partnerships, enhancing operations and/or providing a competitive advantage to the organization. Acts as the primary technical resource and consultant, in their area of expertise, to senior client and IT management and staff.

  • Develop BOOMI integrations specifically for UKG Dimensions product.

  • Develop, document, and evangelize Enterprise Integration Strategies, built on the Dell Boomi Platform, delivering world-class solutions for our enterprise customers.

  • Understand functional and technical requirements.

  • Design and develop in SaaS / API first approach to integrations. Ensures technical designs comply with applicable architecture standards and designs are functionally and technically feasible.

  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to define and determine integration requirements.

  • Validates technology ability to meet business, performance, integration, and scalability requirements for each project.

  • Define and develop efficient exception handling and error notification process to monitor, reprocess error transactions.

  • Participate in technical design sessions and develop detailed technical solutions and documentation that is aligned with business objectives.

  • Perform unit testing/QA of development to ensure the business requirements are being met as requested.

  • Effectively handle multiple tasks at the same time and take ownership of the projects that you are working on.

  • Establish, communicate, and enforce application design patterns, interface standards, and development guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; Masters degree preferred .

  • Technical expertise in SQL, HTML, JavaScript, etc. at an expert level.

  • 8 years minimum experience (higher preferred), 12 years of related experience, including a demonstrated ability in technology area. In-depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred.

  • Hands on 5+ years of experience in building Dell Boomi Integrations with 2+ years specifically for UKG Pro or UKG Dimensions.

  • In-depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred.

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.

  • Strong knowledge on reverse engineering on integrations.

  • Exceptionally good at written and oral communication.

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $102999.98 - $202155 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
