As a Technology Specialist based in the Allen, TX office you will have responsibility for providing expert technology advice to support the test and measurement business, supporting local sales to explain emerging technology aspects of telecom testing, and defining/promoting solutions to meet future market requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:
Technology specialist for Telecom related technologies and markets related to Anritsu, defining and explaining Anritsu's market technologies to meet specific customer needs.
Following technology trends and market requirements for Anritsu related telecom markets, analyzing and reporting internally on key issues that will define future market needs.
Provide regional support to the business, having relevant skills to analyze locally the customer technology issues and to support the reporting and escalation of any issues internally within Anritsu.
Specific focus will be to North America market.
This position will be reporting to the Head of Global Market Technology based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Technical qualified, college level or above.
Able and willing to travel across North America to work on-site with the customers. Occasional travel to other customer regions (e.g. Europe) plus visits to Anritsu R&D sites in Europe/Japan.
3GPP related product R&D, and/or testing of 3GPP technologies.
GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G air interface signaling.
Telecom network architecture and protocols.
Presentation and public speaking, both creating material and delivering in meetings and seminars desired
Working in a pre-sales technical support environment desired
Systems integration, preferably in wireless communications systems desired
Telecom Networks technology, covering access, core and transport/data networks desired
WiFi and IMS technology experience desired
High speed serial bus experience, e.g. PCIe desired
Optical transport network technologies, e.g. 100/400/800GbE desired
Data Center Networks and Data Center Interconnect desired
