Job Requirements

  • Familiarity with PC and associated software applications

  • Valid driver's license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage

  • High School Diploma

  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Completed classes and experience involving computers, electronics, mechanics, basic network and basic connectivity and printing software application preferred

  • Prior customer service experience strongly preferred

You will support the NuVasive Clinical Services HR team in this role and be responsible for the support of day-to-day Human Resources operations for NCS shareowners across the United States. This position reports to the NCS Sr. Manager, Human Resources. Responsibilities: * Build relationships with shareowners and supports retention goals * Serve as first point of contact for HR inquiries * Supports employee onboarding process and updates * Process and track employee offboarding, including asset recovery and conducting exit interviews * Process employee data change requests * Support the broader HR team by implementing programs to help improve the employee experience, including working cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits, Talent Management, and other HR specialist functions to help meet the needs of the business * Fulfill internal requests for shareowner data/information * Review and develop job descriptions * Responsible for sending communications re: HR initiatives and follow up with shareowners as necessary for HR Centers of Excellence * Verify and process new hire I-9 verifications * Coordinate and/or serve as a liaison for special projects/initiatives * Provides feedback regarding procedures and policies to continually improve HR departmental efficiency and the organization as a whole * Supports Joint Commission Reaccreditation Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience * Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be articulate and personable * Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) * Exceptional organizational and time management skills * Customer service-oriented experience * Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work collaboratively with others both within and outside Human Resources * Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion * Basic knowledge of labor and employment law * Strong attention to detail experience Preferred Qualifications * SHRM-CP and/or HRCI PHR Certification * Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) * Experience in the healthcare industry NuVasive is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
