The successful candidate will be part of an IT team in charge of delivering Digital business projects. The Project Manager will work across several teams or PODS leading, planning, organizing and monitoring technical efforts for delivery. Technical efforts may be run in either Agile or Waterfall methodology. Candidate must align with HSBC's project management practices, utilize HSBC's standard tools including JIRA & Clarity. "

Technology Project Management jobs are accountable

for successful delivery of Technology projects and ensuring benefits realisation.

Project outputs may form part of a technology-based change programme, or delivery of a technology-only Programme or may be standalone.

The scope of projects may be global and may span multiple HSBC business areas.

The Project Management role will hold most or all of these responsibilities:

  • Mange the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes.

  • Support Technology teams to manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, budget

  • Work with the Technology team and Product Owner to drive improvements in productivity through backlog management, maturity in the use of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean), and corresponding management of dependencies

  • Provide management to maintain a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectives, where appropriate, and to the change portfolio across HSBC

  • Manage, monitor and report progress, issues, dependencies, risks to the programme management, internal stakeholders and/or steering committees. Make recommendations to influence decision-making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation

  • Enforce process discipline and improvements in areas of expertise, such as: disciplined agile software delivery, production support processes, continuous DevOps pipelines development.

  • Help in the development and running of the programme management office or project management practice.

  • Ensure adherence to standard controls and drives teams to achieve compliance and framework, capability management, Security controls and technology architecture designs

  • Establish effective governance and controls, in line with Business Transformation Framework and coordination of cross technology teams, cross Global Business/Global Functions delivery

  • University graduate (preferable in IT) followed by at least 5 years of professional experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to produce comprehensive reports and briefings for senior stakeholders

  • Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask

  • Able to achieve excellence under time and stress pressure

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Experience of change and configuration management and risk & issue management

  • Positive, proactive and can-do attitude

  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodology will be advantageous

  • PMP Project Management Certification is an advantage"

Sets up tagging, installation, preventative maintenance and routine service on small printer, low end segment, and facsimile devices at customer locations usually within a specific geographic area. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Achieves expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload and level of experience. * Manages territory, inventory and customer relationships. * Demonstrates good technical and customer relation skills. * Demonstrates technical expertise * Performs a full range of servicing and repair service procedures including diagnostics, installation, removal and retrofits on assigned equipment. * Performs Basic Connected installations, sets up IP addresses, downloads printer drivers and provides customer training on printing standalone and network devices, * Performs troubleshooting and repairs or replaces equipment components as necessary. * Demonstrates required digital competencies associated with assigned products and level assignment. * Completes technical training on new equipment as assigned. * Supports territory * Effectively executes all required territory management and call handling procedures. * Works closely with sales partners to maximize equipment leads and upgrade opportunities. * Maintains and manages own parts inventory with a high degree of accuracy. * Adheres to territory back-up plans. * Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner. * Complies with all company policies. * Customer Service * Interacts with external customers for the purpose of determining service needs on equipment and ensuring overall high level of customer satisfaction with the service performed. * Exhibits professional appearance and demeanor at all times. * Maintains productive, professional relationship with all company personnel. * Maintains a positive demeanor and is a contributing team member. * Responsible for maintaining a "car stock" inventory. * Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications) * Typically requires: * Requires high school diploma.
