Description:

  • Gathers, manages, and prioritizes the product backlog.
  • Ensures close collaboration with the development teams.
  • Works closely with design and quality assurance to ensure the right customer problem is solved.
  • Has technical product knowledge
  • Contributes to the work of the Commercial Product Management team as they define a product differentiation strategy.
  • Tracks progress towards the release of a product.
  • Create the product development roadmap which communicates the mid to .long team development plans.
  • Work with a cross-functional team in planning a product release.
  • Define customer needs and the associated features to meet those needs.
  • Advocates on behalf of the customer for the development team.
  • Prioritizes defect or bug resolution.
  • Play a key role in resolving business and development team conflicts.

Requirement:

  • Contribute to a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem solving.
  • Mentor and Coach teams in agile processes and tools. Strong experience with Agile Project Management Tools including Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, not just at issue tracking level, but also for data mining, dashboarding and status reporting.
  • Forecast sprint iterations with concerned business partners to better understand dependencies between tasks and teams.
  • Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution between Scrum Masters and business stakeholders. Shield sprint teams from outside distractions and unintended dependencies and interference.
  • Communicate with other teams and management on project progress and dependency handling and ensure the transparency of the team.
  • Ability to work independently and plan and manage multiple assignments.

  • An understanding of SQL DB infrastructures; with interface coding coding in C#; UI development in HTML5; all in the .NET framework;

The Systems Engineering (SE) Center is seeking a recognized technical subject matter expert and leader committed to creating innovative and cost-effective system security solutions. The Senior Principal Secure Systems Engineer and deputy Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) exhibit a high degree of creativity and ingenuity, and will be responsible for architecting, designing and developing advanced systems leveraging security integrity and cyber security guidelines and concepts. The position requires subject matter expertise and experience in secure systems, such as anti-tamper, cyber security, cryptography, or software assurance. This is a high-growth technical area and the candidate must be a self-starter that enjoys collaboration and pursuing innovative, practical solutions. Job Description: This position is for a Deputy Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) / Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Kuwait/Qatar Programs within the Secure Sensors Solutions (SSS) Mission area of Raytheon's Intelligence and Space (RIS) business. The Deputy IPTL will directly work with the IPTL to manage a team of 75+ people. This is a multi-disciplinary group of engineers as well as interface with operations, contracts, finance, and program management. Experience should include team management, including team leadership, staffing, staff management, team development, Cost estimate proposals, Earned Value Management, etc. The deputy IPTL develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards. The deputy IPTL achieves milestones on-time and within allotted budget while managing his/her staff and keeping them accountable. He/she identifies issues and risks early, proactively resolves issues that impede program progress, obtains assistance when needed and thus allowing core staff to concentrate on their Work Products at hand. He/she will be responsible for completing financial Estimate at Complete (EAC), program Gate reviews, monthly Program Management Reviews, and facilitate independent Peer reviews of all Work Products. The deputy IPTL shall act independently, guided only by very broad company policies and objectives. The deputy IPTL shall be able to apply advanced principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems requiring coordination of technologies across program requirements. The deputy IPTL shall lead briefings and technical meetings for internal and external stakeholders / customers. Required Skills: * Minimum 10+ years of progressive technical (hands-on) experience related to Systems/Software Engineering architecture, requirements, determination, development, and implementation * Extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time embedded security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programs. * Knowledge of security standards, methods, and policies; risk and threat analysis; and technical safeguards. * Experience with design/development/implementation in at least one of the following areas: Anti-Tamper (HW, SW, Systems), Cybersecurity, Software Assurance * Experience leading engineering development teams and personnel * Ability to interact with customers to define requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness. * Develop top-level system requirements, and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystems * Experience with direct interfaces with respect to customer representatives and external suppliers * Experience with commercial-off-the-shelf security technologies and trusted products. * Experience in using tools and metrics in managing activities * Experience managing (cost and schedule) systems engineering product teams within a program and earned-value management * Familiarity with sizing engineering efforts and bidding program pursuits * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * ACTIVE Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain additional program-level special clearances * U.S. Citizen as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems Desired Skills: * Experience in System Integrity, Intel Community Agency Security design, or related field * Experience with certification and accreditation of cryptographic, anti-tamper, and other security-related engineering products / systems * Experience with multi-level security solutions * Knowledge of reverse engineering principles and methods * Experience as an IPTL or deputy IPTL * Earned Value / Control Account Manager Certified * Experience developing and maintaining complex integrated master schedules * Experience interfacing with operations, contracts, finance, and program management * Experience with Configuration Control Board, Engineering Review Board, Failure Review Board, Risk and Opportunity Review Boards * Experience in leading design reviews (e.g. System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review) and establishing technical baseline * Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills to enable effective personal interaction and collaboration with a multi-discipline team Required Education: * Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM), or Master's degree in relevant field with 10+ years of engineering experience U.S. Citizenship Status is requires as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems 172784 Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
