Job Description:

The CCB Risk and Finance Technology (CCB RFT) organization is responsible for building and supporting the technology systems and platform that supports the CCB Risk and Finance. A Program delivery governance manager in this group will help drive delivery governance and controls structure that supports Agile methodology across all CCB RFT Initiatives.


In the Technology Program Delivery Governance

  • Project Execution role, you will be responsible for creating a Governance process framework that support Agile Delivery that includes:
  • Work with Agile Transformation Leads to determine suitable Agile Delivery Process Framework

  • Elaborate on Process tollgates/checkpoint, deliverables in support of the above.

  • Create a Project/Program assurance package template that Programs will follow and substantiate.

  • Perform audit compliance checks as needed in prep for external as well as internal audit requirements

  • Coordinate with Scrum Teams to maintain the Release Calendar

  • Support Agile Transformation initiative with metrics and reporting

  • Establish Agile Program/Project Status Reporting standards and templates.

  • Gather metrics on recurring basis to maintain appropriate team KPI's

  • Coordinate with team leads to report at internal Delivery Governance Council and other Governance forums

  • Work with various LOB Governance Teams and Working Groups to share Program information and collaborate as needed

Responsibilities for this role will also include:

  • Maintaining internal databases and systems to collect, track, and report program progress

  • Preparing ad hoc internal reports on program activity, timeline and plans for Senior level and Executive Management Team

  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting & metrics

  • Completing status dashboard reports and scorecard updates

  • Assisting with communications and presentation materials

  • Designing and documenting supporting processes where required

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of Program/Project Management, Agile experience.

  • Proven track record of successful roll outs of Processes and Governance along with measurements against those.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), with aptitude for learning proprietary software and databases.

  • Excellent Communication and executive presentation skills

  • Analytical thinker with strong analysis skills, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills enabling candidate to anticipate problems and connect dots on their own

  • Reasonable working knowledge of technology architectures and risk management business functions to the extent necessary to establish credibility with technology and business stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

  • "Can do" attitude; "go-getter" that pursues responsibilities without constant prompting

  • Experience and aptitude with technology development roles outside of project management specialization (e.g., process design, business analysis, test scripting, etc.)

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of technology and technical solutions

  • Self-starter and quick learner who can take initiative and work both independently and with a team

  • Flexible, with ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities for self while working in an frequently changing environment

  • Assertive with strong interpersonal skills and solid written and verbal business communication skills

  • Familiarity with practical implementations of Agile scrum methodology, particularly as it relates to establishing project planning and tracking protocols in practice with that methodology
