Department: Information Technology/GIS
Salary: $55,348 - $73,320/year
Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the overall organizational IT strategy in support of the County's vision and strategic goals which includes the management and maintenance of organization-wide technology systems and hands-on selection and implementation of new systems as needed.
Responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations, staff, vendors and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and oversight of active projects.
Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand IT needs and develop optimized solutions.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent in work experience, plus ten years of progressively responsible experience.
Must have a working knowledge of the application development process.
Must understand the implementation and administration of Linux and Microsoft networks and the supporting infrastructure components, such as routers, switches, hubs, frame relay etc.
Must have a valid Driver's License and provide his/her own transportation.
Employee is provided mobile devices such as a phone, laptop/tablet and is required to be on call outside of working hours for emergency support requirements.
Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
