POSITION SUMMARY:

Lake Washington School District is seeking a highly qualified certificated educator to join the Technology Integration Specialist Team. The successful candidate will design and implement technology integration professional learning programs, support teachers and principals to implement technology integration strategies in all LWSD schools, and provide technology integration support for Professional Learning, Curriculum, and Assessment district work.

SALARY:

1.0 FTE - Teacher salary schedule, plus 15 extra days and a stipend. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Washington State teaching certificate (i.e. Continuing, Residency, or Professional)

• Successful classroom teaching experience, five years minimum

• Commitment to and evidence of successful technology integration into the learning environment

• Commitment to the vision, goals, and philosophy of the Lake Washington School District

• Implementation of effective instructional strategies, learning theory, and technology integration

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

• Master's Degree and/or National Board Certification

• Demonstrated effective experience with mentoring and collaborating with teachers and administrators

• Advanced degree or coursework in technology integration

• Teaching experience and implementation of effective instructional strategies using Canvas learning management system

• Teaching experience at the secondary level; however, applicants with elementary teaching experience are encouraged to apply
