FTE: 1.0 FTE (School Year Position) The School Distirct of Ashland is looking for a creative and innovative teacher that would like to build courses focused on students using technology to develop life long skills with a strong technology background. This individual would be responsible for a wide range of course offerings.

This position would offer potential courses in foundations of construction and audio/visual content creation for 6-12 grade students. This position requires a student focused, task orientated, organized, positive and flexible person with a strong desire to help students succeed academically.

The Technology Education requires, but is not limited to the following:

1.Wisconsin Certification #1220 - Technology Education (required) or ability to obtain

2.Ability to forge positive relationships with parents/guardians of students and facilitate student/parent/teacher meetings as needed.

3.Ability to work collegially with other members of the Career and Technical Education Department, Student Services, administration, the faculty, maintenance staff and the community as needed.

4.Experience in developing, writing and evaluating curriculum preferred.

5.Knowledge of career clusters (pathways) and ability to work with Career and Technical Education Department colleagues to help implement.

6.Ability to be innovative in teaching.

7.Ability to work with challenging students and students of all ability levels.

8.Willingness to pursue and acquire Project Lead the Way certification.
