Cigna IT is looking for technology-focused individuals to join the Technology Early Career Development Program (TECDP) Summer Internship. The TECDP mission is to support the professional development needs of early career Information Technology (IT) program associates, as well as Cigna's IT talent requirements by providing summer interns with challenging IT assignments, formalized training, and guided mentorship. The committed partnership between interns, program management, and Cigna's IT leadership is a testament to the value of the TECDP and the critical role it plays in developing Cigna's future IT professionals.

What you'll do:
The TECDP Co-op offers Northeastern, Drexel and Eastern Connecticut State University students interested in the field of technology a realistic experience of what it's like to work in Information Technology at Cigna. The 6 month co-op is designed to develop an individual's IT skills that are aligned with their interests.
The TECDP program manager will work with the co-op to determine the best role for them prior to starting. In addition to their role work, co-ops will have the opportunity to participate in an innovation project to solve a real-world Cigna challenge.
Opportunities for co-ops are available in many areas of IT. Our co-ops are treated as if they were full-time associates in the program and this opportunity could lead to full-time employment upon graduation.

Information Protection Specialist
What you need to do the job:
Bachelor's Degree in progress in Information Science & Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Business related disciplines.
Ability to effectively communicate via oral and written channels.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical/technical skills and knowledge.
Innovative thinker and problem solver.
Energetic, motivated and career-driven.
Seeks learning opportunities.
3.0 or better overall GPA.
