Job Summary:

JLL, an international real estate management company, is seeking a Technology professional to join our account team supporting a fast-paced client with a strong technology focus. This role is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of a world class global technology architecture and digital enterprise service environment. This includes partnering with the broader JLL Technology team at the country, regional and global level to help define and implement enterprise and regional technology strategy and standards on account. We are seeking candidates that are self-starters who can work in a diverse and fast-paced environment that can join our team immediately.

What this job involves:

  • Develop a Technology Road Map for account team and client

  • Be a change agent that accelerates industry wide technology advancements, helping this team become the "Gold Standard" for technology and innovation

  • Develop, cultivate, and support a best in class team to foster creative solutions to client problems, using ground breaking technology and methods, with rapid development and deployment.

  • Lead the team by providing clear strategic technical direction and guidance in the adoption of technology and digital products to support business strategy

  • Define and execute on the technology strategy by engaging highly technical teams (solution architects, technical account managers, cloud professional services consultants, JLL clients, and consulting/managed services partners).

  • Plan all aspects of the enterprise architecture function as well as steward technology and enterprise service roadmaps and standards.

  • Ensure that innovative and integrated technical solutions are delivered as part of either projects or strategic enterprise technology direction.

  • Analyze application portfolios, identify dependencies and common infrastructure platform components, and assess consolidation feasibility.

  • Solicit feedback from enterprise customers and influence future iterations of JLL's technology enterprise platform.

  • Assist with cost/benefit modeling and create compelling business cases/total cost of ownership studies for migration.

  • Understands product/service cost drivers and industry and business trends impacting JLL technology and business environments.

  • Independently develops, executes and monitors complex data management / analytic processes to support ad hoc data and information delivery for assigned projects.

  • Develops proficiency in multiple data management disciplines and tools to develop robust data and information management solutions.

  • Ensures proper escalation, prioritization and remediation of data quality issues.

  • Engages with colleagues and internal customers to reverse engineer existing business processes and identify core business requirements for new information deliverables and data infrastructure.

  • Articulates business requirements in sufficient detail such that a technical solution can be designed and engineered.

  • Consults with the business to develop documentation and communication materials to ensure accurate usage and interpretation of JLL data.

  • Identifies and acquires new data sources, performs data discovery to understand data values and relationships, and develops prototype solutions to deliver immediate business value.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field is required.

  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing technology teams

  • Breath of experience across enterprise IT in several of the following areas: software design or development, infrastructure architecture, content distribution, database architecture; IP networking; IT security; data center operations; enterprise applications

  • Direct technical background and experience with the engineering and design of the following technology disciplines:

  • Enterprise Services Identity & access management, integration services, document management

  • Application Architecture Application development language and processes, Mobile, Presentation and Web

  • Technology Architecture End User Computing, Network, Application Hosting, Middleware, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, Cyber Security

  • Breath of expertise in cloud computing technologies and architectural best practices

  • Demonstrated ability to build and a develop of highly talented and technical team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with problem solving skills, leadership and a willingness to collaborate and drive change

  • Ability to influence peers and senior leadership (IT and Business) and a strong ability to lead teams through change

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Highly technical with experience in transforming an IT organization to the cloud and building an integrated, best in class service delivery framework

  • Experience architecting complex use cases leveraging multi-vendor environment technologies

  • Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders

  • Understand enterprise architecture frameworks and enterprise IT management frameworks, identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets

  • Broad enterprise systems experience including MSFT, IBM, Oracle, and custom Java/.NET applications

  • Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects

This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is responsible for managing the daily operations and staff of the highly complex toll maintenance and information technology departments. General responsibilities include: management and oversight of the toll system maintenance administration, business information systems, information security systems, and networking and communications systems; management of staffing levels and disciplines, and leveraging contractor resources to build and maintain a successful and efficient technical team; developing and implementing technology strategy and programs that will elevate RMTA's technology capabilities and organization performance management; overseeing and directing projects, resources and budgets; collaborating with executive staff to set technology policies, priorities and agendas. Must have the ability to evaluate, design and implement information systems, communication systems and support procedures; manage budgets, costs, schedules and technical details for complex technology projects; hands-on experience developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans; hands-on experience and knowledge of VPN, TCP/IP and IPSEC protocols; strong knowledge of IT security concepts and experience managing various intrusion detection/prevention systems in a multilayer approach; maintain confidentiality; provide consistently high quality customer service, OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
