You will be joining the Cross Domain Architect and help the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) drive the architecture Global Transaction Banking (GTB), and ensures that the GTB architecture is aligned Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), and firm wide direction.
The Technology Architect Influences the organization and the engineering community in particular to deliver solutions that comply with the Architecture Blue Print and with the Target State Architecture of the Bank. They have an advanced understanding of IT industry trends and enterprise-scale methodologies, processes, techniques and technologies for delivering effective IT solutions that achieve the target state architecture.
Drives the definition of the Architecture Blue Print for the Bank, a corporate division, several businesses or one business within a division
Defines strategic multi-year roadmap to support the execution of the Architecture Blue Print and ensure continuous alignment with the Target State Architecture for the Bank and with the Deutsche Bank's Architecture Framework (dbAF), focusing on an optimized and efficient end-to-end technology support for business processes
Defines strategic core components and foundations that will be at the center of the Target State Architecture and leverage or integrate with the enterprise assets available supporting the Target State Architecture for the Bank or the Division
Leverages and promotes in its division Architecture Standards aligned with the Bank's Architecture Framework
Contributes to the definition and evolution of the Architecture Standards of the Bank and their implementation in its division
Makes sure the engineering community is aware of and applies these standards in the elaboration of all solutions associated to the strategic multi-year roadmap
Leads or participates actively in the CTO Architecture Council of their respective division to define and adapt firm wide architecture standards, contribute to cross-divisional strategic transformational projects and foster innovation in the Bank
Actively collaborates with respective peers within the division and across divisions to ensure coherence and alignment of the various Architecture Blue Print with the Bank's Architecture Blue Print
Contributes or leads technical 'deep dives' in its division or for the Bank to solve the most complex design issues or address burning strategic challenges
Actively contributes or leads cross-divisional architecture transformation programs aiming at rationalizing life business, data, solution, technical or security architecture
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery
Ability to balance business demands and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility
Experience in IT delivery and architecture, application design and programming in a large enterprise working on mission-critical IT systems
Proven history of implementing technology roadmaps and providing subject matter expertise in specific technologies
Previous experience in Transaction banking is a plus
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent) with a minor in Finance, Mathematics or Engineering
