Job description: This position will provide assistance on foundry technology review to support management on strategic decision on technology.
The candidate will be responsible for SPICE model support, analog and mixed signal design simulation. He/she will also be responsible to develop and streamline the IR drop and power analysis flow for IP validation and power model generation. It requires close collaboration with IC design teams for adoption and support of the flow.
In addition, creation and support of physical verification automation for use by design groups. Support tape-out and design-related foundry interface activities, as well as CAD flows for SOC integration. Educational and Experience Prerequisites: MS/PhD in EE with CAD experience The candidate must have in depth experience in: o Electronic Design Principles o Unix Shell scripting o Perl, TCL, or Python o Strong verbal and written English communication o SPICE Modeling and Analog Simulation It is highly desirable the candidate is knowledgeable in: o IR/EM Analysis Tool of Ansys Totem and Redhawk o Process Technologies o Device Physics o Physical Verification o Full Custom Layout Tools
