Technologist I (Rehab)

The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department is seeking a full-time Rehabilitation Tech I to work on the inpatient rehabilitation nursing units at Willis Knighton Rehabilitation Institute. This position requires a self-motivated person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well organized and an eye for detail.

This individual must be able to work effectively with the Inpatient Rehab interdisciplinary team which includes other techs, LPNs, RNs, and therapy staff. The Rehab Tech I is responsible for assisting patients with their activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals. Also, the Rehab Tech I must be physically able to assist the patient with transfers.

The level of assistance required is individual to each specific patient. Applicants for this position must have self-motivation, demonstrate flexibility with work assignments, and also have excellent time management skills. The applicant must be willing to work a 12-hour shift.

Preference is given to applicants with prior experience, but prior experience is not mandatory. The candidate selected for the position will be required to attend a hospital wide orientation upon hire. Please apply here to join our team.
