Repair of Caterpillar and/or related equipment or components, following established procedures and guidelines.


Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform repairs with limited departmental supervision with higher level of responsibility for repair.

  • Possess tooling required by the service department.

  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.

  • Disassemble and assemble machines/components. Recondition/repair as required.

  • Work overtime as required by workload and customer need.

  • Select proper tooling for any standard job and demonstrate proficiency with Cat diagnostic tools.

  • Perform diagnostics and organize appropriate repair procedures.

  • Successfully complete appropriate training sessions as required.

  • Demonstrate safe and proper application of hand, pneumatic and electric tools.

  • Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor and fellow employees.

  • Follow directions as given; follow company policies and procedures.

  • Build competencies and share skills with other technicians, retain acquired knowledge.

  • Treat customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Be responsible and proactive for personal development and training requirements for growth.

  • Stay current with Cat product line. Utilize resources from Cat and Quinn Company.

  • Demonstrate and promote Quinn Company core values of Relationship, Integrity, Teamwork, Respect, Quality and Service.

  • Travel to other stores, customer sites and other dealer and Caterpillar facilities for work or training.

  • Work alternate shifts as required by workload and customer needs.

  • Work in the field as required by manager or supervisor.

Requirements EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

One-year certificate or A.S. degree from a community college or technical school; Two to four years mechanical experience or equivalent education and experience.

This role is the execution subject matter expert/resource for General Managers and Sales Managers. The Field Execution Director is tasked to engage and inspire sales execution leadership teams to deliver all customer and commercial plans flawlessly at the retail level on a consistent basis. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: * Support Market Unit in delivering assigned annual volume, profit, and share growth plans within assigned Market Unit. * Promptly identify execution gaps and develop appropriate action plans for distribution center leadership teams. * Develop relationships with key customer operations leadership within assigned market unit to steward success metrics and execution of company initiatives. * Maintain customer contact in conjunction with customer leadership to expedite resolution of customer problems/complaints and to improve overall customer relations, sales volume, and profile in the marketplace. * Provide ongoing communication on sales, marketing and executional opportunities to distribution center leadership. * Create local execution programs to enhance the organization's commercial plan. * Maintain customer contact in conjunction with customer leadership to expedite resolution of customer problems/complaints and to improve overall customer relations, sales volume, and profile in the marketplace. * Collaborate with Sales Operations Leadership team to plan, develop, and implement multi-year field execution measurement and improvement strategy. * Lead field execution stewardship routines for assigned Market Unit. * Other projects or duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in sales operations. * 7+ years of experience in sales experience in sales or sales management, preferably in the non-alcoholic beverage and/or consumer products industry * Problem solving capabilities. * Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent driving record and vehicle insurance * Personal vehicle for company travel/use * Results-driven and customer-focused mentality with a collaborative attitude * Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities * Must excel in multi-tasking within a fast-paced organization * Must be self-motivated & influential * Proficiency in Margin Minder * Exceptional attention to detail. * Travel requirement: 25% * This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
