As a Cadet, you will travel via Geekmobile from the precinct to our clients home and assist with the delivery and basic installation of technology products alongside a seasoned Agent. Youll provide our clients service that exceeds expectations by handling appointments with care, asking the right questions to enhance the client experience, and providing prompt follow up of recommendations as well as solutions. Key accountabilities:

  • Perform a variety of fulfillment duties for clients in their homes including delivery, installation and networking with a primary focus on Home Theater technology

  • Phone and in-person contact with clients to reveal diagnostic discoveries and make recommendations for protecting and defending client devices

  • Provide timely updates to the client and store precincts

  • Responsibly manage inventory and Geekmobile maintenance

  • Provide feedback and training to store teams as well as assist in store stock repairs

  • Support Geek Squad efforts to protect the world, one device at a time

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience actively using and learning about consumer electronics

  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team

  • Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of holidays, nights and weekends

  • 21 years of age or more

  • Current valid drivers license and a clear driving record

  • Life or maneuver 75 lb. with/without reasonable accommodation and team lift up to 150 lb

  • 6 months consumer electronics experience (sales, operations or services)

Radiologic Technologist services at the FMC will be performed in the radiology room located on the second floor of the “B” Building and at the FPC in the radiology room located on the third floor of the “A” building.<br /> <br /> <strong>Facility Information:</strong> The Federal Medical Center (FMC) in Lexington, Kentucky is an administrative facility for male inmates. The facility also has an adjacent minimum security satellite camp for female inmates. FMC Lexington is located 7 miles north of Lexington on U.S. Highway 421.<br /> <br /> <strong>Work Schedule:  </strong>The Contractor will normally work weekdays, Monday through Friday, including federal holidays and will not exceed six (6) sessions per day, five (5) days a week. A session is defined as an hour. The Contractor will generally work 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. with an unpaid 30 minute lunch each day. However, the hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the institution<br /> <br /> <strong>Period of Performance: </strong>60 months (5 years) and it can be extended for an additional 6 months.<br /> <br /> <strong>Description of Duties: </strong><br /> Work in a non-discriminatory and unbiased fashion, with an inmate population from a variety of cultural, racial, religious gender and ethnic backgrounds.<br /> Evaluate radiographic equipment for calibrations and repairs. Participate in quality assurance processes.<br /> Possess knowledge of basic emergency situations that may occur during special radiographic procedures.<br /> Schedule exams and maintain electronic health records and schedules.<br /> Work closely with Health Information and non-medical staff to schedule appointments.<br /> Possess knowledge of various pathological abnormalities as demonstrated by radiographic imaging.<br /> Independently assess and select technical exposure factors and positions necessary to obtain a proper quality diagnostic exam.<br /> Receive patients and explain procedures to alleviate undue anxiety.<br /> Independently perform all radiographic procedures; i.e., chest, bone, skull, spines, and portable x-rays, etc.<br /> If needed, collect dosimetry badges; prepare dosimetry badges packaging and badge submission; receive dosimetry badges and report.<br /> Notify the referring healthcare provider of any preliminary abnormalities seen while patient is undergoing an exam, so that additional views or exams can be ordered if needed.<br /> Coordinate transfer of patient radiologic records to ensure continuity of care.<br /> Work with the Clinical Director or designee and the staff x-ray technician to ensure monitoring and evaluation activities are completed.<br /> Act as liaison between radiologist and medical staff.<br /> Receive training and orientation and comply with correctional techniques as they pertain to medical services.<br /> Develop a working knowledge of the FMC medical protocols.<br /> Wear outer protective clothing and obey CDC universal precautions at all times. Function in other duties commensurate of a Radiological Technician.<br /> Computerization and printing of daily log.<br /> Computerization and printing of exam requisitions.<br /> Printing of all folder and exam labels<br /> Completing of all x-ray studies ordered by the medical staff.<br /> Maintenance of all media formats and preparation for x-ray shipment to the radiologist for interpretation.<br /> Responsible for filing discs in accordance with filing procedures, pulling discs for staff if needed for med trips, appointments, etc. & pulling discs (from a provided roster) for staff to mail to the their next institution. • Transport of x-rays to radiologist for interpretation if needed; Transport all x-rays from radiologist after interpretation if needed.<br /> Assisting the staff with maintenance of equipment and supplies, and notifying staff when supplies are needed.<br /> Conducting quality assurance and other duties as assigned.<br /> <br /> <strong>Qualifications:</strong><br /> The BPA employee shall be fully licensed to perform radiological procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. The BPA employee should also be licensed by any state or U.S. territory. <br /> The Contractor must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.<br /> The contractor must possess of their graduation from an accredited school of radiology technology.<br /> The individual selected to perform these services must be able to pass a drug screening and law enforcement agency background check.<br /> <br /> <strong>Attire: </strong>The Contractor is expected to wear professional clothing while on duty. Although scrub uniforms are approved, they should not be khaki in color. The attire worn shall also be appropriate for the correctional environment in which the contract employee will be performing and should not be tight fitting or low cut without an undershirt. If the Contractor is not dressed appropriately, they will not be allowed within the institution until the appropriated uniform is presented.
