Job Description:
This is technical services work in performing difficult and moderately complex engineering duties in a variety of lab and office engineering specialties at the MaineDOT Central Laboratory in Bangor Maine.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Certification with the American Concrete Institute as a Concrete Strength Testing Technician desired. Candidates without certification will be trained with the expectation of becoming Certified within 2 years of hire. Supervision may be exercised over subordinate semi-skilled personnel performing testing activities.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
Five (5) years of experience in engineering
OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in engineering
OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and one (1) year of experience in engineering.
