Technicians at Centrica Business Solutions are on the front line of ensuring projects are on-time, completed in the safest possible manner, and that they are delivered with the highest quality, resulting in happy customers. As a Technician I, you have the ability to directly influence the end result of a project, as well as work for a company that is not only making business facilities more efficient and less costly, but improving the safety, health and comfort of those working there.
Our Technician I contributions to the team include:
Accurately assembling and installing lamps, ballasts and other lighting components within various fixture types and following all National Electrical Code guidelines.
Ensuring that the jobsite is maintained to the highest standards to include: cleaning, preparation and eliminating all possible hazards.
Providing a top notch customer experience that leaves a lasting impression. This includes always interacting in a professional and respectful manner and going above and beyond customer expectations.
Working in the safest possible manner following all Centrica Business Solutions and OSHA guidelines and actively participating in and completing regular safety training.
Collaborating with team members to complete projects on-time.
This is not your average 9am - 5pm position. If you are someone who enjoys traveling and seeing new places this job is for you! Our Technicians and Foreman need to have scheduling flexibility with an ability to travel to different jobsites.
The core components of success are (i.e. must haves):
A High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Work safely from ladders and various lifts
Active Driver's License

0-3 years of related experience and/or training
Experience with energy conservation lighting projects
Mechanical experience and/or aptitude
