Technician, Quality Control Microbiology

Who You Are

The Quality Control Microbiology Technician is responsible for supporting the environmental and compressed gas monitoring of the Kriya Manufacturing Facility. In addition, the QC Microbiology Technician supports sample control activities such as sample handling and aliquoting.

How You Contribute

• Performs Environmental Monitoring and Gas Testing.

• Performs sample control activities such as aliquoting.

• Performs sample and data entry activities.

• Performs routine cleaning of equipment.

• Acknowledges equipment alarms.

• Performs plate reading and compare results to predetermined limits.

• May perform microbiological testing for samples, including but not limited to bioburden testing, and Gram staining, as needed.

• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

What You Bring to the Team

Education & Experience

• Minimum associate degree in a science related field or combination of experience and Bio-works certification.

• 1+ years of experience in a cGMP environment is required

• Previous experience in a sterile manufacturing processing is preferred.

Competencies

• Hands on experience with Environmental Monitoring and Compressed Gas Sampling is a plus.

• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

• Occasional weekend and overtime availability required.

• Lifting requirements: Over 20 lbs
