As a Patient Care Technician in our practice, you will function as a champion of day-to-day patient care and comfort. The Technician serves as a primary support to the physician and ensures timely flow of patients through the office with responsibilities from triage/patient charting to preparing exam/treatment rooms.


  • Performs timely procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.

  • Assists with performing quality control measures.

  • Provides patient education materials when needed.

  • Assists with managing patient administrative functions including handling patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, collection of copays, and answering phones.

  • Taking patient histories and vital signs including ensuring all EHR is current.

  • Assists physician in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals including maintaining supplies/equipment and sterilization.

  • Assists in maintaining budgeted supply expense.


  • One year of experience in patient care is highly preferred.


  • Active and unrevoked medical assistant certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications What You Will Need: * Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification * Current Certified Nursing Assistant license * Approved Medication Assistant Training Program Certification * Must be 18 years of age or older Job Summary: Under the supervision and direction of a licensed nurse, prepares, administers, and records select oral, nasal, trans-dermal, rectal, inhalant, and ophthalmic scheduled medications to residents.
