Technician

Major Duties (Job Description) You will provide technical support for the Depot support end items to ensure the repair and restoration. You will examine requirements for facilities, parts, materials, data, equipment and services, required to dissemble into component parts.

You will reassemble, align and functionally test each item(s), returning the item(s) to a serviceable condition. You will analyze and diagnose faults in the operational configurations of electronic systems and equipment. You will interpret circuit wiring, logic cable diagrams, drawings, specifications, and schematics of complete systems and equipment to understand the function and interconnections of the various assemblies.

You will design or modify designs to achieve performance and cost objectives. Qualification Summary Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NR-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: inspecting, repairing, AND/OR analyzing circuits, determining design feasibility, evaluating equipment performance under varying environmental conditions, AND/OR collecting performance data.
