Job Description POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for all aspects of the preventative maintenance and repairs of the facility and production related equipment. Your tasks . Responsible for the development and maintenance of the preventative maintenance schedule and preventative maintenance activities and repairs of all plant equipment, making production equipment a priority in order to ensure an efficient production flow.

Troubleshoot and make repairs including mechanical and electrical related repairs. Schedule external contractors as needed to complete annual and semi-annual preventative maintenance schedules and Machine or Facility general maintenance as needed. Research part suppliers and procure parts as needed for equipment related repairs and maintenance.

Responsible for adhering to monthly repair and maintenance expense budget. Request PO's for annual spend amounts for regular contractor related work, ie inspections, snow clearing, lawn maintenance, electrical, Mobile Equipment and HVAC. Special projects as assigned including new program auxiliary equipment, existing continuous improvement projects for existing programs.

Design and fabricate equipment to improve and support production operations as needed. Responsible for compliance with assigned Safety Protocol's such as Lockout Tagout, Machine Guarding and Electrical Safety. Ensure personal adherence to all Environmental Health and Safety rules and procedures are maintained, including housekeeping and proper operation of tools and equipment.

Comply with and enforce the PKC Group Environmental, Health and Safety Policy. Comply with the environmental work instructions applicable to their job position. Report any deviation on the environmental operational controls established and communicate improvement initiatives.

Participate in toolbox talks. Your profile . Education and Experience: Work requires the ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations well enough to generate and maintain accurate records and reports as normally acquired through completion of a high school education.

Five (5) years documented experience in electrical circuitry of computerized equipment and a minimum of two (2) years experience in machine repair. Skill/ knowledge requirements: The ability to assess, troubleshoot, and repair any mechanical or electrical issue that does not require a licensed contractor.

Computer Skills - comfortable with Word, and Excel and Database data entry. Must be able to read electrical schematics Full understanding of the functions and potential issues of mechanical equipment and electrical systems Preferred: Experience with high-speed stamping presses preferred.

Experience with programing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Experience with programming vision systems. Working Conditions: Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must be able to move about 85% of the time to various locations of facility to repair and/or install equipment, and stay in one place 15% of the time to concentrate on maintaining records and/or reports.
