Qualifications
Must have a good working knowledge of different types of audio-visual equipment including operation, set-up, troubleshooting, and explanation of equipment
Must have a good working knowledge of different types of video conferencing equipment \
ie. Microsoft Teams, Cisco systems
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently, and follow directions from supervisor
Must have excellent customer service skills, and maintain a positive and professional appearance and attitude
Must possess a high level of attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities

Responsibilities
The Onsite Support Technician is a client-facing position responsible for setting up and operating a variety of high-end audio-visual equipment for live/virtual/hybrid client meetings and events
Also responsible for trouble-shooting any issues, and removal of equipment post-event
Currently hiring for Full Time
some evening & weekend work is required
Work closely with clients and the in-house Operations team to ensure the successful completion of events
Set-up, tear-down, and occasional loading and unloading of equipment
Operate different types of audio-visual equipment, for both live and virtual events

Provide excellent customer service to clients, promptly handling any equipment changes/requests
Ensure equipment is functional, safely, and professionally presented, and that client is familiar or comfortable with the operation of any equipment they are utilizing
Trouble-shoot any equipment issues with satisfactory resolution
Responsibilities
A Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of basic / small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction
This position reports to an Operations Manager, Operations Director or Director, Event Technology
Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the technical qualifications section
Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers
Maintains a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication
Meets with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly
Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day
Understands and fosters the hotel/client relationship
Assists in organizing daily floor activities to ensure the timely set up, refresh and removal of equipment. Participate in refreshing meeting/training rooms daily- ie: Configuring tables, chairs, and other furniture per event design. Delivering additional meeting equipment - ie: easels, flip charts, tables and chairs • Performs daily floor operations assisting within the workflow of other technicians. • Works with team to establish coordinated communications for the management of events. • Attends venue meetings as needed (example = event orders or pre-event planning) Equipment Maintenance • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment to keep it presentable and in good working condition. • Responsible for proper security, storage, and transportation of equipment. • Participates in physical inventory count processes as requested. Job Qualifications • 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred. • 3-5 year of audio-visual experience is required. • Advanced problem-solving skills. • A valid driver's license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles Competencies • Ownership • Hospitality • Professionalism • Responsiveness • Safety Conscious • Team members will use high-end audio-visual equipment via ladders.
