Technician - Integration Engineering

Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage & Second Stage structure. Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.

Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations and other ground support equipment as required. Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges and optical measuring instruments. Requirements: 5 to 10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing & aerospace structures (Sheetmetal) Experience in Drilling Aluminum, Composite & Titanium structures Experience in at least one of the following is required:

Heavy (Primary Structures drilling experience) (Secondary Structures drilling experience) Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, understands written work instructions and test procedures. Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field or (Airframe License). Proven success as a “hands-on” technical leader Experience in handling large aerospace structures.

Experience in assembling large tight tolerance structures.

Experience in new product introduction. Experience in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification Ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs.
