The Technician III Facilities plans and schedules craftspersons to perform work requested on Maintenance Repair Orders, Preventive Maintenance, maintenance work orders, and equipment engineering work orders, and performs routine maintenance tasks as necessary.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews Maintenance Repair Orders to determine if the scope of work required falls under the definition of maintenance and repair, preventive or predictive maintenance, or new construction/modification.
Separates orders for new construction/modification and forwards them to the appropriate department.
Schedules equipment engineering work orders for machine capability studies and machine tool overhauls, or modifications resulting from studies.
Plans and schedules work orders for maintenance work request, preventive maintenance work orders, and equipment engineering work orders for maintenance work centers.
Scopes jobs to determine levels of priority, potential hazards, and materials needed; applies time standards.
Provides safety plans, hour estimates, and identifies hazards and controls on all work orders.
Orders needed parts from Stores and from outside vendors when necessary.
Schedules hourly crafts-persons to perform work requested on Maintenance Repair Orders, Preventive Maintenance, maintenance work orders, and equipment engineering work orders based on time standards.
Service contract administration including supporting scope development, supports proposal of contract documentation and provides oversight of service contractors.
Performs data entry and completes required reports, including Maintenance Repair Orders and work order computer entries and close-outs, error reports, daily work reports, and Maintenance Repair Orders status reports.
Must be capable of working extended hours as-required.
Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to stop work when an unsafe condition or action is identified. Every employee has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are identified.

You Must Have
US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain US Dept. of Energy "Q"-level security clearance.
High School Diploma or GED.
Five (5) or more years' experience in planning and performing preventative maintenance and maintenance of facilities and/or equipment, experience in order and purchasing materials.
Two (2) or more years' experience reading drawings, layouts, and schematics.
Two (2) or more years' experience using computers, including demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, Word).
Qualified journey-level crafts-persons with several years experience, preferably at Honeywell FM&T.
Knowledge and skill as attained in an apprenticeship program or comparable on the job training.
Experience in using a Work Order data base system like MAXIMO.
Leadership skills and experience with a safety mindset.
