Participate fully in development activities on key D&R projects in the Development Process Engineering Labs.
Conducts technical activities in support of development programs.
Perform controlled and documented experiments, qualifications and equipment support in a research/development environment.
Set up, operate and maintain manual, semi-automatic and fully automated research equipment, fixtures, and gauges.
Assist engineers in the processing of studies and validation of equipment or processes.
Record and analyze test data, maintain logbooks and generate reports.
Be a flexible participant in cross functional teams , be able to multi task and set priorities.
Train others as required.
Follow procedures, SOP's, cGMP's, PM's and specifications; participate in reviews as required.
Assure lab readiness; supplies, calibrations, and continuous improvements.
Participate in lean practices within the labs.
Scope of Position:
Work within cross functional teams and small groups in supporting developmental activities for D&R and GQO Programs.
Works with internal organizations on research, development and manufacturing programs.
Works with external technology partners to assess and integrate emerging materials, technologies, and processes into B+L.
2 year associates degree with technical experience, or HS Diploma with technical experience in a research lab or regulated manufacturing environment.
3-8 years, technical experience
Medical device and/or clean room environment required
Experience with a ISO, GMP, FDA regulated environment.
Knowledge of computers/PLC's/shop floor control systems and database usage.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, follow priorities, excellent communication and documentation skills.
Technical writing skills a plus.
