SUMMARY
Tooling Support personnel are responsible for issuing specialized and high cost tools. Supporting tool crib operations, performing hangar/tool crib set up.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing duties he or she has been properly trained for. Monitor the calibration and unserviceable tool programs.
Maintain tooling documentation. Work with IAA on determining serviceability/repair of tools. Accomplishing receiving inspection on tooling.
Identify equipment and tooling shortages. Performing other duties as assigned and directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Proven expertise in an AAR tool crib or prior verifiable tooling experience required.
Knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARS) and valid drivers license required.
Must be able to work day or evening shifts, weekends and overtime
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training.
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
Basic blueprint understanding and schematic interpretation skills preferred. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook, Knowledge of AAR StAAR tooling data base preferred.
