It#s how we roll.# Here#s the details: Full-time, 40 hours per week No weekends, except for those on your call rotation Most shifts start at 6:30 am, but this can vary Come join our team! # JOB SUMMARY: # Assists in the care and support of the patient utilizing technical skills; performs endoscope processing activities; assists the nurse and physician on endoscopic procedures; assists the nurse in maintenance of the physical aspects of the Endoscopic Unit; and functions as Unit Secretary for the unit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum age of 18 years. Completion of a Nurse Assistant training course, or EMT course, or acceptable patient care experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to function in stressful situations. Ability to type and use computer word-processing.

Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire. Needs to be self-motivated and able to work independently. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing. Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write. Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.

Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care. Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel. Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: finger stick blood sugars, vital signs, feed patients, and handle instruments). Able to work in latex burdened environment.
