DATTCO currently has a full-time Technician opening at our School Bus Fleet Maintenance location in Middletown, CT.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles

  • Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles

  • Completes required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage

  • Makes road calls

  • Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions

  • Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one-year experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair

  • Reliable/Motivated/Strong Work Ethic

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • CT drivers license

  • Hold, or be eligible to possess, a CDL license

  • Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications

  • Possess the physical strength to safely perform all required tasks

The RBT is primarily responsible for direct implementation of treatment plans related to skill-acquisition and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children/youth with Autism and related developmental disabilities.
