Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, performs client treatment programs and activities as prescribed and provides technical assistance regarding therapeutic programs, methods, and equipment, in accordance with Benchmark Rehab Partners policies and procedures. This position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision and values of BenchMark Rehab Partners.


  • Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Skills Ability to communication effectively, knowledge of physical therapy equipment and care, ability to follow written and oral instruction, ability to assist and prepare patients for treatment with various therapy exercises and equipment.


  • Experience Experience preferably in a medical office setting.


  • Patient Care Activities To include use of hot packs and cold packs, performance of therapeutic US as directed by the Physical Therapist, supervising exercises that have been previously taught by the Physical Therapist, disconnecting patients from electrical stimulation units, assisting patients in setting exercise equipment, use of dumbbells, theraband, etc., transcribe information in the charts (checking off the exercise flow sheet by recording reps/weights, writing the name/date/ICD-9 code on billing sheets after the initial evaluation of the patient and other pertinent activities as deemed necessary.

  • Clinical Duties To include laundry-wash, dry, and fold, clean tables in between patient use, stocking carts with towels, pillowcases, etc.; cleaning of the exercise equipment at least once a day and more frequently as warranted, assisting with the tidiness of the clinic as needed to include emptying trash, vacuuming, straightening up the waiting room and other duties as deemed necessary.

  • Office Duties To include answering phones/how to operate the phones, how to take a referral, how to schedule patients including documenting cxl, NS and R/S of patients, how to take a co-pay/patient supply order, where to locate a supply for the clinic or for patient purchase, how to locate charts in the chart drawer, where necessary paper work is located, how to make up a new chart, how to use copiers/fax machine, how to administer initial evaluation paperwork and other tasks deemed necessary.

General Summary: Responsible for a variety of duties pertaining to the installation and repair of voice, video, and high speed data services to residential and small/medium business customers. Performs technical work in the field and responds to customer issues with service quality. Responsibilities include daily organization of service calls, customer relations, problem solving, and documentation. Performs installs, disconnects, reconnects, and installation of additional outlets and relocations. Coordinates with the Dispatch, Outside Plant Maintenance, and Construction departments to ensure that installation and repair work satisfies the Company's standards and meets customer expectations. Essential Job Functions: Installs all types of single-line telephone installations, including identifying correct cable pair in pedestals or terminal blocks, installing and properly grounding drop, inside wiring, and station protector. Locates trouble in single-line telephone installations; repairs or replaces faults. Checks loops and records proper readings as required by the company maintenance plan; localizes line trouble, and changes cable pairs if required. Picks up color-coded cable pairs and installs load coils in correct locations when required; installs and properly arranges inside wiring cable in key system terminal blocks. Installs and maintains carrier systems. Assists central office in the installation and maintenance of data equipment, modems and four-wire circuits. Repairs trouble in cable plant, drop wire, station wiring and telephones. Coordinates with repair, and other departments on service installations and changes to update billing and plant records. Maintains and repairs existing equipment by using test sets to locate line trouble. Determines necessary repairs which may include repairing wiring, station protectors, ground connections, running new wires and replacing jacks, lids and pedestals as needed. Installs, repairs and maintains DSL lines and modems. Takes 24 hour call periodically to resolve service problems in assigned systems. Checks, maintains, and uses proper safety equipment as issued in conformance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Company safety rules and regulations. Climbs poles, ladders, and other structures as needed; uses bucket truck when required. Lifts and carries loads of at least 70 lbs. Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of basic electronics, specification sheets, and circuit diagrams. Knowledge of telecommunications plant equipment operations and maintenance. Knowledge of telecommunications industry and digital switching technology. Knowledge of company products and services. Knowledge of company policies and procedures. Skill in operating service equipment including various hand tools and testing equipment. Ability to communicate with co-workers and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to read and interpret documents such as maps, staking sheets, and operating and maintenance instruction manuals Ability to pay close attention to detail. Ability to evaluate, test, and repair sophisticated equipment. Ability to improve or redesign procedures for specific installation/repair problems. Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions using information at hand. Ability to effectively function as a team player. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required with additional related technical training a plus. Must have a minimum of two years of experience in the installation and repair of telecommunication equipment and services over either copper telephony or HFC networks with experience with both systems being preferred. Must also possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
