Primary Objective: To ensure that the guest is satisfied with the products and services provided by the audio visual department, while meeting our financial responsibilities.
Ideal Candidate: Previous Guest service experience Previous Audio Visual experience preferred.
Four year degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Major Responsibilities: To ensure that all of the daily work is completed in accordance with AHC guidelines.
To treat the AV gear with respect and care.
To uphold all of the service culture standards set forth by the AHC.
To learn completely, all of the audio visual gear so that they can set it and use it for daily set-ups and tech times.
To learn AV procedures/practices at all three of the AHC properties.
Specific Duties: . To accurately complete all of the AV related tasks on a daily basis.
To assist other departments with AV related issues.
Maintain positive attitude and willingness to please the internal/external guest.
Arrive to work on time, neatly groomed and in proper uniform.
To be ready to fill in wherever they are needed to satisfy the guest.
Maintains the meeting room sound and lighting systems.
Report any problem areas that affect security, safety or operating condition of the hotel.
Responsible for hanging all banners.
Responsible for operating all audio-visual equipment provided by the hotel.
Must be familiar with operation of each piece of AV equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in a catwalk, climb a 12ft.
ladder, and use a lift.
Must be able to see all colors of the spectrum.
Must help provide and maintain a safe working area to avoid accidents/injury.
Measurable Criteria: Positive attitude, willingness to please customers, ability to get along with co-workers and supervisors.
Ability to follow established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
Good record of attendance and punctuality.
Ability to Adhere to prescribed grooming and appearance standards.
Ability to organize and expedite AV services.
Flexibility with schedule changes.
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Account for time on property by signing off on daily tasks and completing time cards when required.
Notice: The hotel functions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All employees, both management and hourly, must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move an employee from their accustomed shift as business demands.

ADDITIONAL STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES: * Attends weekly staff meetings. * Serves on staff committees, IEP teams, Intervention Assistance Teams, grade level teams, and curriculum teams as required. * Creates, offers, and teaches a one hour after-school elective once per week (electives are based on teacher/student interest). * Available to students one hour, twice per week for after-school tutoring. * Assists with student hallway, lunch room, and/or parking lot monitoring before, during, and/or after school as assigned by administration.
