Are you passionate about automotive technology and looking for an exciting opportunity? We're seeking skilled individuals to join our team in Duette, FL. No international travel required except for potential specialized training in Germany. Forklift training provided!

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of job-related experience in automotive and technical fields.

  • Technical background in automotive industry.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Automotive vocational technical training.

  • Dealership product training.

  • Certificate in Automotive Technology.

  • At least two ASE Certifications.

Desired:

  • Previous experience in an Engineering Test and Development Environment.

Skills:

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking.

  • Valid driver's license with a good DMV record.

  • Strong English language skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficiency in computer software and engineering tools.

  • Problem-solving abilities.

Specialized Skills:

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Highly organized and dependable.

  • Ability to work well independently and with minimal supervision.

  • Minimum two ASE certifications, including one powertrain related.

  • Recent automotive drivetrain diagnostic experience.

  • Extensive knowledge as an Automotive Technician on vehicles.

Desired:

  • Diagnostic experience including VAS testers.

  • Self-organized.

  • Ability to maintain a clean work environment.

  • Resource management skills.

  • Proficiency in German and/or Spanish.

  • Forklift certification and operation.

Work Flexibility:

  • Minimum 40 hours/week, occasional Saturday or overtime.

  • Occasional domestic travel is required for business & training, possibly international.

  • Commonly sit at a desk or table.

  • Frequent walking, standing, or lifting up to 50 pounds.

Role Summary: This role supports all Test Fleet Activities as needed, determined by Management or Station Coordinator.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Detailed inspections and repair of test vehicles.

  • Software and hardware updates, including reporting systems.

  • Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of test vehicles.

  • Technical support for visiting test groups.

  • Installation, removal, and maintenance of data logging equipment.

  • Maintain workshop tool, tire, and service part inventory.

  • Prepare vehicles for scrapping and rotation for external drivers.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the work area.

  • Provide overall support for department operations.

  • Support test driver needs and questions before and after shifts.

Hourly Rate: $28-30

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
