Airga Red-D-Arc is hiring an Equipment Repair Technician for our Tukwila, WA Branch!

You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing Welder, Generators and diesel engines just to name a few. No experience required with this type of equipment but must have a minimum of 6 months experience with mechanical repairs. The working days and hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

What equipment will you be repairing and working on?

This would include, but not be limited to:

â- MIG, TIG, and STICK Welders

â- Diesel & Natural Gas Generators

â- Wire Feeders

â- Welding Positioners

â- And other Welding related equipment!

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

â- 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment.

â- 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing Diesel/Natural Gas engines.

â- High School Diploma. GED and/or Technical School

â- Must have a valid Driverâ€s License.

Essential Duties:

â- Ensures a safe work environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arcâ€s health and safety guidelines.

â- Repairs, refurbishes, and conducts preventative maintenance on all Electric and Engine Drives.

â- Assembles electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental. Tests and calibrates machines to see if they are functional for rent or sale.

â- Operates a forklift, pallet jack or other necessary equipment to stock required parts in the shop.

â- Prepares and completes paperwork for all machine repairs.

â- Occasionally required to service equipment and customers off-site.

â- Assists with parts and equipment inventories, as well as rental agreement paperwork.

â- Arranges freight and transportation.

â- Maintains communication with all branch personnel.
