Technician

Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Technician 3 or 4 Responsibilities Monitor building system operations under defined supervision.

Perform assigned and emergency repairs. Complete preventive maintenance routines. Utilize skills in carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical expertise for construction, fabrication, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.

Monitor building systems to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot issues immediately. Check suites and other facility rooms to diagnose problems. Complete planned and ad-hoc maintenance work assignments requiring multiple engineering, mechanical, and maintenance trades.

Estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs. Order materials and supplies necessary to complete all tasks. Contact certified contracted vendors as needed.

Oversee performance of service contractors, note deficiencies, and recommend changes. Perform environmental mapping as required. Conduct monthly or periodic inspections of buildings and building systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, structural elements, vertical transportation, roofs, parapets, gutters, lenders, parking areas, drainage, and ramps.

Essential Skills 3-5 years of HVAC Technician experience. EPA Certification. High School Diploma.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
