Domtar-Hawesville is seeking an Accounting Technician at their Pulp & Paper Mill. Reporting directly to the Accounting Supervisor, this position will provide support to the Mill Controller and within the Finance Department. This support includes, but is not limited to, performing a wide variety of complex clerical assignments of an accounting nature such as analyzing accounts, records, reports, journal vouchers, ledgers, and other accounting documents for accuracy & completeness.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in a relevant field, two (2) years of accounting/payroll-related experience; a personal dedication to working safely; ability to maintain confidentiality; strong attention to detail; good written & oral communication skills; ability to work in a team environment; sound decision-making & multi-tasking skills while working with specific deadlines; Microsoft Excel experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a business related field, SAP experience.
