Position Summary:
Responsible for installation, configuration, programming, diagnoses and service on various low voltage electronic systems provided by CTSI in the MD Eastern Shore area.Position Duties and Responsibilities:* Communicate scope of work, project timeline, project design, and budget for small to medium projects to management and client. * Accountable for the successful completion of project to include:*Timely results * Quality of work * Customer satisfaction (project closeout)* Assemble and install small to medium low voltage systems with minimal guidance. * Troubleshoot complex systems, identify problems, make effort to find solution on own, request assistance if necessary. * Coordinate with Lead Technician to direct team of technicians to meet project requirements. * Ensure materials are available at job site. * Ensure job site is cleaned daily.Position Specifications:Skills:* Be able to use hand tools and test equipment. * Have expanded knowledge of electrical circuitry and network principles. * Be able to read/understand technical drawings, programming and installation guides.Abilities: * Arrive for work as directed. * Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, management and peers. * To make presentations to management, clients, others as directed. * Advanced computer skills and software knowledge to include MS Office (Excel, work, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other company software. * Ability to develop goals, prioritize and organize tasks to accomplish the project. * Anticipate and resolve problem/changes; seek assistance as required. * Function as team leader in specific area of expertise.To be considered for this position candidates must: * Be able to travel overnight. * Be available for On-Call work. * Possess a valid driver license and acceptable driving record.Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: 3 - 4 years experience in a similar position.Physical Requirements:* Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. * Must be able to climb a ladder and work from heights. * Must be able to work in the elements.Disclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
