Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie, a recognized leader in the construction industry, has an exciting opportunity available for a Technical Writing Intern in our Winter Park, Florida, office. The internship will be a twelve-week long commitment during the Summer 2019 semester.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Editing project descriptions

  • Writing or editing employee biographies

  • Writing or editing proposal text

  • Editing new project announcements

  • Reviewing boilerplate for accuracy and currency

  • Writing or editing boilerplate

  • Writing or editing marketing or other departmental copy

  • Maintaining a record of boilerplate requests

  • Formatting content as appropriate

  • Knowledge

  • Qualifications & Experience

Education/Qualifications/Experience/

Skills:
  • Must be currently enrolled in school

  • English, Creative Writing, or Journalism majors preferred

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
