For the DIA Directorate of Science and Technology (DS&T), the Advanced Technology Integration Program (ATIP) provides IT managed services for Special Access Program (SAP) systems supporting activities to enable DIA's sensitive technical collection.

AT&T has an opening for a Technical Writer-Tech Graphics Specialist to support the ATIP systems in providing managed IT support of SAP-IT systems for high-priority defense intelligence collection needs and develop and field advanced technical collection capabilities and systems that leverage emerging methods, phenomenologies, and technologies.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for editing content from technical subject matter experts and maintaining library of standards, documents and reports for the program.

  • Responsible for maintaining network diagrams, process flows for quality control.

  • Create and maintain technical manuals and standard operating procedures

  • Use version control to maintain engineering documentation library

Required Clearance:

Mandatory Security Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical writer with experience developing graphics content.

  • Solid understanding developing technical documentation using Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint and Visio).

  • Skills commensurate with the duties and responsibilities.

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position and four (4) years of relevant experience

  • An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree

The candidate will work within a US government contract to support a Cloud based SaaS Acquisition management system that is on the forefront of modern Agile best practices. As the Communication Analyst you will assist the team and government in strategizing, coordinating, and executing project related communications and services to targeted stakeholders to derive consistent, effective, and positive outcome. Communication Analyst will provide strategic and active management of all communication functions for the implementation team. The ideal Communication Analyst will have prior experience developing messaging strategies and communications products for senior clients to communicate organization priorities, Project engagement activities, and information to internal and external audiences. Will develop, write, and edit communications products and informational materials that are tailored to specific government audiences, including official e-mail messaging, articles, new letters, key messages, and talking points. Responsibilities and Duties: * Maintain the strategic communication plan through collaboration with key stakeholders and mangers. * Translate leadership's vision into various products to include publications, brochures, facts sheets, reports, presentations, speeches, web pages, newsletters, and other related print/electronic media products. * Provide communications expertise to document standards, including developing, publishing, and maintaining content for project needs in a client-ready format and meet deadlines independently. * Ensure clear and effective delivery of messages to stakeholders by assisting in developing and executing strategic communications and outreach plans and products. * Recommend new and innovative communication techniques and tools of communication to, increase visibility, awareness, and maximize effectiveness of the organization's mission and accomplishments. * Create graphic images, state-of-the-art multimedia products, contemporary designs, layouts, logos and presentations, and update web pages, accordingly. * Provide pre-production writing, proofreading, and editing services in accordance with established style guides for inclusion in publications, brochures, facts sheets, reports, presentations, speeches, web pages, newsletters, and other related print/electronic media products. * Perform stakeholder management and coordination to gather information, perform research and gap analyses, document challenges and opportunities, adjudicate feedback, provide recommended courses of action, and prepare briefing and communication materials. * Conducts post event follow up to collect metrics and assess the effectiveness of the outreach/campaign. * Responsible for the preparation of contract deliverables as directed by the PM. Qualifications: * Must be a U.S. Citizen (or GC with 3 years of continuous stay in US) and eligible to get Government Clearance. * Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Media, Technology, or a related field coupled with 3 years of experience as a communication resource. * Must have knowledge of MS Office applications, to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, desktop publishing, and SharePoint. * Production and/or editing of implementation plans, process /methodology documents, monthly reports, technical user and administrator guides, training material, and other related documents. * Strong verbal/written communication skills and facilitation skills to effectively lead discussions across multiple groups in fast-paced environment and deliver. * Ability to produce communications quickly, efficiently, and to a high standard. Nice to Have: * Ability to operate in a multi-tasking matrixed fast-paced environment. * Familiar with various modes of written communication such as project management plans, training materials, status reports, and briefings. * Experience with Acquisition and Contract management systems * Experience with Atlassian toolset, including Jira and Confluence. * Knowledge of system/software engineering principles. * Experience working with Upper management on presentations and reporting.
