JOB DESCRIPTION | As a Technical Writer/Editor, Level-2, you will be a key member of a large program team responsible for the integration, optimization, and security of various enterprise systems within a government agency’s public-facing marketplace. The marketplace, which is primarily hosted in an AWS cloud environment, serves as a platform for numerous third-party applications, systems, and services. This position will involve collaborating with both internal teams and external contractors to ensure the seamless integration of new systems and updates to existing ones while producing clear, precise, and well-structured documentation to support these efforts. Your role will include creating technical documents such as user manuals, reports, system specifications, and project deliverables, ensuring they meet contract requirements, agency standards, and relevant regulations. You will research and gather the necessary technical and background information to develop these documents, collaborating closely with subject matter experts, project management teams, and stakeholders to verify and validate the content. This role demands a strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of technical writing practices, and the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and organized manner, all while adhering to established guidelines and requirements. |
