The Marlin Alliance Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer with experience providing support to multiple teams. The position will support the Civilian Human Resource Organization with our Navy customer in San Diego. Anticipated travel is minimal. Salary is commensurate with experience. The candidate must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as Technical Writer and Editor supporting the Civilian Human Resource organization
Proofread and edit various documents for Director Civilian Human Resource (DCHR) and Program Managers (PMs)
Contribute to writing/editing NAVWAR instructions and factsheets
Draft general Human Resource announcements to command
Assist with conducting data calls from DCHR to Human Resource Directors (HRDs)
Gather input and assist with producing Managers Internal Control (MIC) reports
Gather information for Inspector General (IG) Inspection responses and assist with producing metrics
Assist with DCHR special projects research, writing, editing
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
Excellent oral and written communications skills, organizational and workload management, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills are required.
Proven ability to work with a variety of systems, sources of data, and analytic tools.
Ability to use standard MS office software; working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required.
An active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance is required.
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Human Resources, Business Management, or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience working with Human Resources and analytics is preferred.
Familiarity with metrics and statistics is preferred.
