Teradyne's Semiconductor Test Division (STD) is seeking a recent college graduate to fill the role of technical content developer. STD technical developers play a critical role in the development of Help documentation and technical solutions for our Automatic Test Equipment (ATE). This role requires an interest in documenting complex electro-mechanical systems to our internal and external customers that utilize our proprietary software interface to generate test solutions for the most interesting and newly introduced semiconductor integrated circuits on the market today.
Job location: Agoura Hills CA, Buffalo Grove IL or North Reading MA
Develop cohesive documentation in adherence with department style guidelines that align with strategic marketing differentiation messages for ATE test systems.
Develop strong relationships with marketing, hardware, and software engineering, teams to gain insight into the deployment strategy for our products.
Release materials on schedule to ensure best deployment strategy; requires strong project planning and successful execution strategy.
Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes to scope, format, content, or use-model.
Work with engineering SMEs to establish technical content.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Your background should include some combination of the following:
ASEE Electrical/Electronic engineering degree or a BA/BS degree in technical writing/communications/English
Strong technical foundation with the ability to apply standard technical principals to understand ATE hardware and software components
Strong writing skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Desire to work with internal end users from both the field and the factory
Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, VB, Java
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to work independently in a dynamic and challenging workplace
