TYPICAL DUTIES OF A TECHNICAL WRITER AT SONOVISION: Work within the technical writing team to develop maintenance documentation for the aerospace and defense industry.

Provide Subject Matter Experts experience to the writing team and illustrators to develop the most comprehensive and concise information possible. Work both independently and as part of a team to meet budget and schedule constraints and delivery requirements. Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE: Demonstrates a willingness to learn new things and enjoys solving puzzles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as XML, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar platforms. Familiarity with S1000D, ATA2200, DITA and/or MIL-Spec specifications. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.

Adaptability and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in documentation. Ability to work under pressure with professionalism and accuracy. Experience in one or more of the following industries: aerospace, defense, transportation, or energy.
