We are , responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents.We often maintain a current internal documentation library, and use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.As a SecureTech TW, you may prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences, coordinate layout and design of documents, or work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
Some tasking examples that you may encounter on these projects/programs so highly regarded in the intelligence community:
- Researching highly technical subject matter, organizing information from multiple sources, and expressing technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers.
-Applying concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources.
-Producing defense acquisition documentation, user manuals, training manuals, and other documentation utilized by the end-user community of DoD electronic equipment and systems.
-Interpreting engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of computer related information.
- Provide expert oversight of technical writing and editing to all phases of acquisition and technical documentation for the Program, Project, or Contract.
-Act as project leader for projects with complex or voluminous documentation and may provide or coordinate special documentation services as required.

The Tech Writer will primarily focus on document compliance, standards, and fundamental grammar quality. This includes developing and maintaining migration plans, presentations, and online help systems.</p><p>This role will support the effort to discover, analyze and design IT migration plans for over twenty large-scale DoD agencies. Leidos needs the best talent in the industry to accommodate the size, scope, and complexity of this effort. A successful candidate will be well-rounded, producing quality work with special attention to the right details.</p><p>PROGRAM SUMMARY:</p><p>The DES program supports a highly demanding mission and requires support from top technical and management talent to migrate common IT services for over twenty DoD agencies under a common platform. You will play a key role in performing the discovery, design, and migration tasks in support of building a world-class Single Service Provider for the Department of Defense.</p><p>CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:</p><ul><li>Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
