Technical Writer

The Technical Writer position works closely with the Learning & Development Leadership Team and key stakeholders to provide comprehensive learning materials to employees through clear and effective communications. As a Technical Writer your primary responsibility will be to create and revise technical documents such as manuals, reports, brochures, and articles. This position reports to the Learning + Development Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.

• Gather information form subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.

• Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into language for user success.

• Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials.

• Plans writing processes and set timelines and deadlines.

• Gather feedback and audit existing documents to ensure accuracy.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Experience in working to improve user experience (ex. design, UI) refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in English, Technical Writing, Journalism, Communication, Business Administration, or relevant technical field required.

• 1-2 years of related experience required.
