Technical Writer I (Scientific Technical Writer)

Duration: 6 months contract Work schedule: • 100% onsite. • M-F regular business hours. Description: We are seeking a Scientific Technical Writer, QC Micro to join our Quality Control team.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing skills and a good understanding of GMP and GLP practices. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and compile data, as well as author validation reports. Your reports will be prepared in PDF format for approval within the Document Management System.

Responsibilities: • Writing and revision of SOPs and validation reports. • Lab support for drug production/ biologics through fermentation. • Collaborate with QC team members and SMEs to gather and interpret scientific data. • Compile data and author validation reports and other technical documents in accordance with QC and regulatory requirements. • Format and prepare reports for submission in PDF format for review and approval within the Document Management System. • Ensure documentation meets compliance with GMP and GLP standards. • Track and maintain timely completion of training requirements. • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Experience: • Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical writing within a scientific, QC, or pharmaceutical environment. • QC experience with cell therapy and bioassay is a plus. • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) guidelines. • Experience working with Document Management Systems is a plus (OneVolt). • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products. • Organizational skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Education: • BS degree in Life Sciences/Biotech/Chemistry.
