This is an entry level position that will work with Emsi's data, engineering, and product teams to ensure that Emsi data is clearly documented, described, and communicated to the company and clients. At Emsi, we create a lot of data and it is vital to communicate this information to a wide variety of audiences.

We are looking for a candidate with strong writing skills, an interest in data, and the ability to present and communicate complex, technical ideas.

Duties would include:

  • Working with the data team to assist in the creation of data documentation around all the data sets Emsi makes.

  • Working between the engineering and business teams to document and update content for new and changed reports in Emsi software.

  • Working with the data team to write data release notes and making those easily accessible via Knowledge Base, Emsi's technical support center for clients.

  • Communicating updates to the company and working with the Emsi business units and marketing team to develop a strategy for data releases.

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with Word and Google Docs

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences

Preferred qualifications:

  • Technical writing experience

  • Experience with Excel and other web-publishing tools

VIEW JOBS 8/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-15T00:00 Scope of Position & Technical Competency -: * Responsible for facilitating level of care assessments, individual sessions, couples/family sessions, residential and partial hospitalization program groups as determined by and according to program standards within the primary scope of Music Therapy, though not limited to solely the Music Therapy discipline if needed. * Prepares materials and curriculum for facilitating sessions and or groups * Maintains client files according to program standards through utilization of program electronic client record * Initiates and develops treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues and other staff and updates plan as required within expected timelines * Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and family members * Communicates with referral sources, external medical and behavioral providers, client support system, and company representatives * Manages client files by having appropriate documents with in the required time-frames. * Attends and facilitate team meetings regarding client's progress, updates, needs * Develop and conduct staff trainings * Conducts insurance reviews/ extension requests, including documentation * Collects client co-pays as needed * Scheduled for up to 20 hours per week as needed by the program * Attends trainings, staff meetings and supervision as needed and according to program standards, with no less than half of licensure required hours specific to Eating Disorders * Maintains safe, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention * Maintains ethical boundaries with clients and engages clients and support network in respectable and professional manner * Ability to support other programming in office as needed and as appropriate * Other duties as assigned Technical Competencies: * Utilize art therapy to assist clients in their recovery goals * Demonstrates an understanding of Eating Disorders, addiction, mental health and complex conditions * Application to practice * Assessment; initial and ongoing with referrals made as needed * Treatment planning and continuing updates * Professional and respectful interaction with clients, family, supports and referral sources * Individual Counseling * Group Counseling * Family Counseling * Documentation * Professional readiness and ethical responsibility * Maintenance of supply inventory * Eating Disorder population specific competency * A working knowledge of HIPAA, Licensing, OMHSAS, DHS, and CARF regulations Job-related Behavioral Characteristics: As part of Holistic Services the Music Therapist creates theatrical on therapeutic activity to promote self- expression and to give clients insight into behavior. The Music Therapist provides clinically age appropriate interventions that help to build or rebuild positive coping skills and provide emotional support. The Music Therapist will have: Strong clinical skills in mental health /eating disorder/ substance abuse treatment. A working knowledge of HIPAA, Licensing, and CARF regulations. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to problem solve by gathering and analyzing information, working well in an individual/ group problem solving situation, and showing initiative in problem solving. Maintains professionalism and does not show favoritism. Maintains consistency with clients, staff, visitors, and the public. Sound clinical judgment and excellent clinical skills. Ability to handle a crisis situation and react appropriately in a calm and decisive manner. Flexible and adaptable. Ability to make decisions in an objective and ethical manner. Requirements Education, Experience: * Master's Degree from an accredited college with a major in Music Therapy required * Music Therapist – Board Certification (MT-BC) preferred * Current licensure in this Commonwealth preferred - LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD or PsyD * Post-Graduate training and experience in treating Eating Disorders, OCD, Trauma, etc. with DBT, CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, etc. preferred * Valid driver's license required Benefits N/A Onward Behavioral Health Moscow ID
